Glass Greenhouse at SUNY
LLK provided greenhouse construction services to execute the building of a 7,300 square foot 12-zone glass greenhouse structure on the rooftop of a hard structure education building at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences of Forestry. The greenhouse included heaters, evaporative pad cooling, vents, benches, horizontal/vertical shade systems, and an environmental controls system.
LLK participated in preconstruction and construction meetings with general contractors, trades, designers, and engineers on-site, virtually, and via teleconferences to plan, coordinate, and execute work in a manner that met the project objectives and budget.

Project Scope
- Provided greenhouse manufacturers with design evaluation, value-engineering, constructability review, and estimating services.
- Assisted in the planning and development and successful execution of sequenced schedules with the general contractor and their trade partners to ensure proper execution of rooftop construction.
- Project-managed and quality-controlled self-performed work completed by LLK while ensuring work completed by other trades was performed following the project specifications.
- Commissioned greenhouse structure/equipment and trained end-users
